How do cutting-edge tech companies like Altia draw new talent to Colorado Springs?

With renowned tech centers located statewide, Colorado is a haven for software professionals who love the outdoors. Altia has a great partner in the Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce, who has worked with our team to introduce new potential employees to the Springs and help them discover all the ways Altia’s hometown is such a hidden gem.

Recently, The Gazette posted an article about how Hannah Parsons, the chamber’s chief economic development officer, and Beka Adair, economic development analyst, worked with Paco Sandoval, Altia Senior Embedded Software Engineer, earlier this year as he considered relocating from Detroit.

Ms. Parsons and Ms. Adair took Paco on a tour of the city to show him all that Colorado Springs has to offer. Impressed with the beauty of the Springs, the mountains and the wide variety of outdoor activities to enjoy (especially rock climbing), Paco decided to make the move. He is now officially a Colorado Springs resident — and the Altia hometown crew is delighted to call him colleague, friend and neighbor!

The Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce has also created a new resource for local companies who are seeking to draw new talent to the area. ChooseColoradoSprings.com is a website devoted to showcasing Colorado Springs and why this city is an amazing place to live and work.
