What is World Usability Day?
It’s an annual event held the second Thursday of November with events around the world focusing on making the services and products easier and simpler to use.
This year’s theme? Healthcare: Collaborating for Better Systems.
The importance of user-centered design in healthcare is truly life or death. Whether it’s new medical devices or technologies; drug research, patient forms or medical record sharing; emergency disaster planning or increasing the functionality of hospitals and everyday healthcare delivery, everyone is affected in some way by the intersection of usability in healthcare.
Join Steve Tengler, Altia’s Senior Director of User Experience and Services, at Detroit’s World Usability Day event to hear him present “How To Infuse Your Medical User Interface With Pure Sweetness” on Thursday, November 14th at 6:30 PM at the Grand Circus (1570 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI).
