Altia has been awarded the designation of Preferred Supplier for Software by Continental AG. With this distinction, Continental recognizes the importance of its relationship with Altia for ensuring the company’s competitiveness and market leadership.
Continental puts an extremely high value on suppliers who offer above average expertise and performance. The company continually evaluates supplier delivery and execution to assure that this remains the case. To obtain a Preferred Supplier status, companies must receive an internal recommendation from a Continental representative and choose to operate according to Continental’s Supplier Code of Conduct.
For many years, Altia has supported Continental with software and services for automotive HMI programs. Continental’s design teams can leverage the Altia tool chain to create high performance, custom embedded interfaces – instrument clusters, head-up displays, radios and more – for their OEM customers. Altia’s graphical user interface development tools offer key features, like seamless integration of 3D content and advanced handling of global languages, for the development of innovative displays and intuitive user experience. Altia DeepScreen’s support of such a vast array of low- to high-powered hardware, including single and dual pipeline architectures, offers tremendous flexibility for automotive production. Furthermore, Altia’s focus on safety and certification provides Continental with the assurance that their Altia-designed interfaces will meet necessary standards for mission-critical systems.
Mike Juran, Altia CEO, states, “Altia maintains an extreme focus on customer satisfaction and product quality. We are very pleased that Continental has acknowledged our efforts by awarding Altia the Preferred Supplier designation. This is confirmation that Altia’s safety initiatives – including ASPICE, MISRA and ISO 26262 – provide value and confidence to our customers. We look forward to supporting Continental’s achievements for many years to come.”
“The Altia team considers our inclusion in Continental’s Preferred Supplier to be an important acknowledgement of the excellent work that Continental has achieved with Altia’s tools and services,” says Altia VP of Engineering, Michael Hill. “We appreciate the fact that the Preferred Supplier award is only possible through internal recommendations, so we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of the Continental employees who contributed to this recognition and our shared success.”
