PhotoProto can create some really cool interfaces out of the graphics you make in Adobe Photoshop. We want to see what you can come up with!

The top three designs we receive will win one of these prizes:

1st Prize: 30 GB iPod, PhotoProto License. ARV: $744
2nd Prize: 2 GB iPod Nano, PhotoProto License. ARV: $644
3rd Prize: 1 GB iPod Shuffle, PhotoProto License. ARV: $574

Be creative! My granny can create a couple of jewel-tone buttons in PhotoProto, so you'd better dig into all the features at your disposal. Oh, and bonus points will be awarded for using the word "PhotoProto" in your design. Good luck!

To get started:

1. Download the free trial.
2. Optionally, check out the user's guide and demos included in
   the install. (Downloading and watching the video tutorials
   when you get the free trial is almost like cheating.)
3. Use what you've seen to create a PhotoProto demo.
4. Send the Photoshop .psd file to photoproto_contest@altia.com.
5. Sit back and wait for your creativity to be rewarded.

• To enter, entrants must submit a Photoshop .psd file that has had its layers named so as to work with the PhotoProto product. Submit as many designs as you like.
  
  
• Judging will be done solely by Altia, Inc. All decisions are final. Entries will be judged on innovative use of PhotoProto features, layout, and aesthetics. Bonus points will be awarded for including the word "PhotoProto" in your interface!
  
  
• Send submissions to photoproto_contest@altia.com. Entries must be received by Midnight EST December 7, 2006.
  
  
• Employees of Altia, Inc. and its distributors (and their immediate families) are ineligible.
  
  
• By submitting your .psd, you grant Altia, Inc. the right to use, modify and/or distribute the work in any manner without notice, attribution or further compensation to the submitter.
  
  
• Submissions must be original, un-copyrighted work.
  
  
• Altia reserves the right to select a new winner if unable to contact the original winner within 7 days or if the original winner does not meet the eligibility requirements.
  
  
• Each .psd file must not have been submitted to any other contest or publication.
  
  
• At least ten (10) .psd's must be submitted in order for prizes to be awarded. Contest period may be extended until a sufficient number of entries is received.
  
  
• Limit one prize per person for this contest.
  
  
• Substitute prizes of equal or greater value may be awarded if prize becomes unavailable. No prize transfer or cash redemption. Taxes and all other unspecified expenses are sole responsibility of winner. Winner will be notified by email on or about 12/19/06 and may be announced on the Altia web site.
